The quality of your hammer has a direct impact on the fossils you find. These rock hammers have passed our personal tests, and you'll pay a lot less than you will from other places.Chisel point hammers are the preferred hammer for splitting sedimentary rocks. They are one of the most commonly used hammers used for collecting fossils.
