Collecting Cambrian trilobites in the Spence Shale of Southeastern Idaho

This is a spot that we do not frequent very often, but it is great for beginners and it is kind of fun. During this trip we took along some people from the Cache Valley chapter of the Utah Friends of Paleontology.

This is the main quarry. It was formed by a small creek that has cut this bank out of the hillside.
